Hello everybody,
Very sad news.
Sadly Jim Geoghegan died early this morning. He had struggled for a few years with myeloma but it finally got the better of him after a stoical fight.
He was a very proud man who never wanted a fuss made. When he knew that his time was limited, his primary thought was Maggie.
He’s left a very big hole in the life of his family. Our thoughts are with Maggie, his daughter Nicola, son James, grandson Josh and his two sisters.
He was an absolute authority on fire safety and official guidelines to follow having served in the fire service for many years. His guidance and cheerful nature will be sadly missed at the club.
A life lost far too soon!
Linda.

RIP Jim, sincere condolences to Maggie and the family. The club will never be the same without you.
Very sad news indeed, I will with many of the membership remember Jim for joining the new Board of Directors in 2017 after some difficult times in the Club and with his expertise helped to solve many of the problems that existed. He helped to put the Club on the path to recovery.
Sincere condolences to Maggie and the family
